Guests in the family home

'l Cavagnin stands in the peaceful countryside of the Ravinali district below the village of Roddi, amidst fields of grain and hills clad with vineyards and hazelnut groves.The name Cavagnin, meaning a "small basket", was chosen for our attentively-renovated family home because it reminds us of days gone by, and of people dear to us who we always think of with gratitude.

In fact, in those days the local farmers used to hang a cavagnin brimming with bread, grapes, figs and other fruit in the vineyard during the harvest: a simple snack for the hard-working grape-pickers. >>>>
